Yuanwu is one of several characters that won’t need to stay in battle for a long time. He can be built to have several playstyles to enhance how long he’s on the field, but you’ll generally want to keep his time there limited to deal more damage with a heavy hitter. Jinhsi is going to be a character that compliments his shorter field time with her longer requirements on the field. She’s a heavy hitter and can benefit from Yuanwu’s Thunder Wedge, Galbrena Prefarm which he can put down in fights. Yuanwu doesn’t buff other characters nearly as well as some others, but his persistent field damage after he’s been switched out will allow you to focus on dealing damage with Jinhsi as often as possible.

After that has been done, you’ll be ready to carry on and really get the hang of how she plays. Getting some skill upgrades will help out in the long run as they’ll slowly build up into helping out a lot as you continue using Changli.

When using Chixia you’ll have a couple of options for Sonata Effects to choose from. They can be mixed and matched as well, if you feel like that’ll be the best bet for your playstyle. But you’ll most likely wish to stick with the Molten Rift Sonata Effect. Molten Rift will increase Fusion damage by 10% with 2 echoes, and with a set of 5, Chixia’s Resonance Skill will trigger a Fusion Damage increase of 30% for 15 seconds . The second option is to go for Lingering Tunes echoes. This will increase the base attack for the most part. With 2 Lingering Tunes echoes, Chixia’s attack will increase by 10% and with the set of 5 her attack will increase by 5% for every 1.5 seconds while on the field . This can stack up to 4 times and her Outro Skill damage increases by 60% .

For Jinshi’s primary echo, you’ll have a couple of choices to make. One is in the main area of Wuthering Waves and the other will be in the Mt. Firmament area that was added with Jinshi. Mourning Aix is on the main map for the game and will allow Jinshi to transform and perform some Spectro-based damage attacks.
